Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Decodexo (decodexo.com) does and does not collect. It applies to the website and the tools on it.

The short version

You can use the tools without an account. Files and text you paste into a tool are processed in your browser. We do not upload them to Decodexo to finish the job.

What the tools do with your data

QR codes, invoices, images, Base64, JSON, JWT, timestamps, calculators, regex, and PDF tools run on your device. The content you type or drop into a tool stays in that page unless you download a result or send it somewhere yourself.

Remove background can download a small person-segmentation model from a public CDN the first time you use Person or Auto. HEIC to JPG can download a HEIC decoder from a public CDN the first time you open an iPhone photo. Those files are cached by the browser. Your photo is not sent with either download.

Stock Market and Crypto Market request public third-party APIs (Google News and other publisher RSS feeds via rss2json, CoinGecko for coin prices, and public market-data endpoints for trending gainers and losers) from your browser so the page can show current headlines and movers. Charts load from Investing.com. Those services may see your IP address. The calculators themselves do not send your numbers anywhere.

We do not ask you to create a login. We do not use cookies of our own to identify you. The site does not write to local storage or session storage for the tools.

Messages you send us

If you use Help on the homepage, your mail app opens with the name, email, and message you entered. If you send that mail, we receive it at support@decodexo.com so we can reply. We keep that thread only to answer you.

Hosting and technical logs

The company that hosts this site may record standard server logs when you load a page. Those logs can include your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. We use that only to keep the site up and to debug outages. We do not sell it.

Fonts and other third parties

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may see that your browser requested those files. Their use of that data is covered by Google’s own policy.

Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense. If we do, Google and its partners can use cookies or similar technology to show ads, measure them, and (where allowed) personalize them. You can learn how Google uses data on partner sites in Google’s advertising policies, and you can opt out of personalized ads in your Google ad settings.

Ad scripts are not active until we paste Google’s official code into the site. Until then, this section describes what will happen when ads are on.

Children

The site is a general utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us a message, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Use the tools without sending us anything.
• Do not submit Help if you do not want us to have your name and email.
• Use a browser or extension that blocks ads and third-party scripts if you prefer.
• Ask us to delete a message you sent: support@decodexo.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
